I was at the recent Thailand Printmaking Festival 2025, held at Central Chidlom in Bangkok, Thailand. It was a great showcase of artistic talent and different printmaking techniques. For anyone passionate about art, design, or unique handmade creations, this event was truly a highlight.

Imagine stepping into a busy hall filled with different printmaking methods, from traditional techniques to contemporary approaches. That’s exactly what attendees experienced at the Thailand Printmaking Festival. It was a rare opportunity to see numerous Bangkok print studios and talented printmaking artists gathered in one convenient location, something that’s usually impossible to do with studios scattered across the city.
The festival was a treasure trove for art enthusiasts, featuring:
- Framed art and art prints displayed and available for purchase.
- Ceramics and other handmade art alongside the print works.
- Interactive workshops and activity spaces where visitors could try their hand at rubber stamping and journaling. These hands-on activities brought the art of printmaking to life for everyone.
I loved the energy at the Thailand Printmaking Festival 2025. It really showed me that printmaking in Thailand is a thriving art. It’s more than just a technique; it’s an dynamic art form constantly evolving. Seeing so many dedicated artists and studios exhibiting their design processes and finished works reaffirmed the appeal and creativity within the printmaking community in Thailand.
Events like these are fantastic opportunities to discover new artists, explore different printmaking techniques, and even bring home a unique piece of art. I hope to be back in Bangkok for future creative festivals like this. Scroll down for more photos of the event!
