Montblanc Heritage Egyptomania 💛

I had the pleasure of reviewing this pen when it first came out years ago, thanks to @montblanc Malaysia.

It’s beautiful, its weight just right. It has an octagonal shape and this particular pen is embellished with a set of authentic hieroglyphics which translate to ‘white stone mountain’, effectively describing ‘Montblanc’.

Though I personally prefer EF nibs, this 14K gold medium nib worked well. Wrote very smoothly on all sorts of paper that I tried. Super luxurious and does its job in making my handwriting look better. I’m sure the pen has something to do with it ✨

Calligraphy in Spanish ✨

A while back, I was asked to commission a piece in Spanish. It’s a beautiful language, but with my limited knowledge, it became quite a challenge. Due to a misspelling that I couldn’t fix, I had to write it all over again.

Sharing here what I’ve learned, with a bonus tip: just be very patient and enjoy the process because it’s all worth it in the end.

Pen and ink pairing ✨

I have (very happily) acquired new ink-friendly paper, so I’m testing it with my parallel pen just to see how it soaks up the ink. As you can see, it has performed very well!

Ligaya is joy in Filipino 🇵🇭

I took this folded pen out of hibernation and I’m so so glad it’s still in good condition. It’s basically a folded piece of metal attached to a holder, and you dip it in ink and just write with it.

My folding pen skills may be rusty, but the pen is not, so that’s still a good thing. 😂 Here I wrote using a mint green ink on 100% cotton paper.
